Boil Water Notice Rescinded for City of Dripping Springs Water Customers Within the Cannon Ranch and Driftwood Golf & Ranch Communities
On March 25, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Dripping Springs wholesale water provider (West Travis County Public Utility Agency-- WTCPUA) to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The Boil Water Notice was also issued by the City of Dripping Springs to the Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club PWS (TX1050208) and City of Dripping Springs PWS (TX1050187).
The WTCPUA and the City of Dripping Springs have taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by these public water systems used for drinking water and/or human consumption purposes. The WTCPUA and the City of Dripping Springs have provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of March 27, 2026.
