CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS WAYFINDING AND SIGNAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids or proposals will be received via CivCast by the City of Dripping Springs until 2:00 p.m. (CST) on August 7, 2026, and then publicly opened, read, and taken under advisement in accordance with City procedures.
Bids will be for the furnishing of all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, labor, superintendence, signage, footings, supports, decorative metal, sign faces, dimensional lettering, mounting hardware, traffic control, installation, removal, disposal, site restoration, coordination, permits, shop drawings, signed and sealed professional engineering documents, and all other services and appurtenances required for the construction of the City Wayfinding and Signage Improvements Project. The Bid shall include acknowledgment of any addenda submitted and all other documents included in said bid call.
No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening time. Any bids received after the scheduled bid opening time will be returned unopened.

Bids must be submitted on City of Dripping Springs bid forms through CivCast and must be accompanied by acceptable bid security in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the City of Dripping Springs, Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Bid security shall be submitted in the manner required by CivCast and the Contract Documents. If original hard-copy bid security is required by the City, it shall be delivered to City of Dripping Springs, 511 Mercer St., Dripping Springs, Texas 78620, in accordance with the City’s instructions.
The City Wayfinding and Signage Improvements Project generally includes TXDOT wayfinding signage, gateway monument signage if awarded, mobilization and general conditions, selective demolition, traffic safety planning, revegetation, site restoration, shop drawings, mock-ups, signed and sealed professional engineering documents for sign foundations and footings, field location and staking, permitting, and coordination with the City, TXDOT, the City Engineer, the Landscape Architect, utilities, and other authorities having jurisdiction. The City may award the Base Bid and any one or combination of Add Alternates.
The City may issue addenda before bid opening to incorporate revisions, clarifications, or updates to sign panels, sign messaging, plans, drawings, technical specifications, or bid requirements. Any such revision is binding only if issued by written addendum.

CivCast is the official platform for online submission unless the City states otherwise by addendum.
An optional pre-bid conference with prospective bidders will be held on July 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (CST). The meeting link will be provided on CivCast. Attendance is encouraged but not required.
All questions, requests for clarification, substitution requests, and requests for interpretation must be submitted in writing through CivCast no later than August 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (CST). The City will issue written responses, if any, by addendum. Questions regarding available budget, anticipated award scope, or prioritization of alternates may be answered by addendum if the City elects to provide that information. Oral statements, informal conversations, site discussions, emails not issued as addenda, and verbal interpretations are not binding on the City.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any nonconforming Bid and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding sixty (60) days from the Bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm for that period.
The successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. The successful Bidder must also furnish any required maintenance bond, insurance certificates, endorsements, Form 1295, conflict disclosures, and other documents required by the Contract Documents.
Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the Work and inform themselves regarding all local conditions.
