2026 Wastewater Rate Adjustments

The Dripping Springs City Council has approved adjustments to the City’s utility rates to address rising infrastructure costs, support continued growth, and protect the community’s long-term water resources.

 

The approved rate structure includes increases to both the base rate and the usage rate. There will be a very slight increase in the water rates, with a more significant adjustment to the wastewater rates. For most residential customers, this is expected to result in an increase of approximately $20 to $30 per month, depending on usage. Commercial users will see increases based on their level of service, with impacts varying by size and demand.

 

Rates will be analyzed each year, but the City anticipates additional increases each year through fiscal year 2032. Customers will see these new rates reflected in their bills in September as the City Council delayed implementing the rate changes to notify the public well in advance.
